Musheerabad: Telangana Jatheeya Mazdoor Union celebrated its second anniversary at its office in Vidyanagar on Friday. As part of the celebrations, the president of the union Sudhakar and general secretary Hanumanth Mudhiraj hoisted the union flag and released a pamphlet announcing action plan for their agitations demanding merger of TSRTC with government.

Speaking to media on the occasion, Hanumanth Mudhiraj urged the CM KCR to fulfil the promise he made during Telangana agitation that he would merge the RTC in government. He also remembered KCR's promise of implementing wages on par with central government employees.

While the neighboring AP state is preparing itself to merge RTC with government, the Telangana government, which made promise earlier, maintains silence, he lamented. He said that the union would stage protests at all the depots on June 24 condemning delay in pay revision and other issues. On June 26, the union would organize hunger strikes and labour awareness tour in July first week.

Criticizing other unions TMU and EU for their silence on various issues, he urged RTC employees to elect TJM in the forthcoming union elections to get issues addressed. He promised to strive for providing job security to conductors and drivers, improve medical services to employees and timely payment of salaries.

TJM leaders EN Goud, Narasaiah, PSS Rao, Aruna, Chari, Krishnamurthi, Narender, Chennaiah , presidents and secretaries of TJM district units and others attended the program.
