Job Connect drive held for kin of cops
Hyderabad: Anjani Kumar, the Commissioner of Police, on Wednesday had inaugurated 'Job Connect' programme at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) headquarters, facilitating employment to the children of city police personnel.
Three companies, namely, I team Inc, Robo Corporation and Sriram Life Insurance Corporation, gave placements to several candidates. The Commissioner thanked the companies and handed over placement offers to selected candidates.
On the occasion, the Commissioner also inaugurated Hepatitis B and C awareness camp and appreciated the efforts of Dr Soma Sekhar Rao and Dr Goverdhan Reddy of Apollo Hospital for their endeavour in organising the camp and sensitising the police personnel on various aspects of Hepatitis B and C virus and how to treat fatty liver diseases.
Canteen inaugurated at CAR headquarters
As part of welfare measures taken up for city police personnel, Anjani Kumar, the Commissioner of Police, on Wednesday inaugurated a canteen at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) headquarters, meeting a long-pending need of the police personnel.
The Commissioner appreciated the efforts of CAR welfare committee and CAR Police Association members in this regard. T Murali Krishna, Additional Commissioner, CAR HQ, K Ram Chander Rao, Additional DCP, Giri Raju, ACP-CAR, and other staff were present on the occasion.
