Kaloji's birth anniversary celebrated

Malkajgiri: The 105th birth anniversary of reputed Telangana poet Kaloji Narayana Rao was celebrated at Medchal-Malkajgiri district youth and sports office on Monday.

District Youth and Sports Officer Balarama Rao garlanded the portrait of the poet and paid rich tributes. He spoke of the life and achievements of the poet and praised his services to Telangana region as people's poet.

He said that the poet strived to preserve the culture and language of Telangana and fought for the freedom of the people from Nizam's hegemony. District Audit Officer Ch Sathyanarayana, office staff and others were present.
