Kalvakuntla Kavitha appears before Nampally court

Former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha attended the Nampally Court in correspondence to a case filed against her and three others during the 2010 Nizamabad by-elections.

The 2010 by-elections in Nizamabad Urban witnessed a sequence of events wherein throngs of crowd agitated for grant of statehood to Telangana region. The then MLA of Nizamabad Urban, Yendala Laxmi Narayana resigned his post and by-election was held for the same

The dharna happened in Nizamabad town wherein, cases were filed upon the protesting Kalvakuntla Kavitha and others. The cases were filed under section 341 and section 188 IPC

In this connection, the Nampally High Court has issued summons to the Smt Kalvakuntla Kavitha. The case was heard by honorable special sessions judge. Kavitha Kalvakuntla attended the court today and the judge asked Kavitha to submit a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and reappear on the 19th of March.
