Kartika Samaradhana conducted at Mother Dairy Park
Nallakunta: On the last day of holy month of Kartika, Surya Association organised 'Kartika Samaradhana' at Mother Dairy Park on Tuesday. Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh attended the programme as the chief guest. As part of the programme, devotees lighted thousands of lamps before the deities. Idols of Shiva and other Hindu gods were installed at the park for the purpose.
Speaking at the programme, Venkatesh said that lighting lamps during holy month of Karthika would be beneficial for one and all. He congratulated the organisers who had been conducting the event for the last 40 years.
"Participating in such devotional programmes have helped me win the MLA elections comfortably," he said. Audience were captivated by the devotional songs sung by noted music teacher Ramachari and his disciples. Organiser Ramana Raju, Rajendra, Krishna, Shashi and others also participated in the programme.
