KCR a labour-friendly leader: Muta Gopal
Musheerabad: Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has proved himself as a labour-friendly leader by enhancing the wages of TSRTC employees, Asha and Anganwadi workers by several fold after coming to power.
Addressing a gathering organised by TRSKV union president Rambabu Yadav at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Friday, Gopal urged labour unions to support the TRS party in the ensuing Parliament elections. Explaining TRS' labour-friendly policies, he noted that it was KCR who increased insurance amount from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 6 lakh for construction workers. He appealed to the people to vote for TRS party and ensure that the party gets 16 Lok Sabha seats.
If KCR can manage to bring the new State with just two Lok Sabha seats, imagine what he could do if gets 16 seats, he said. Explaining the need for encouraging young leaders into the political mainstream, he appealed to the people to vote for Sai Kiran Yadav, the TRS candidate for Secunderabad parliamentary seat.
Secretary of TRSKV labour department Narayana, Ramnagar corporator and GHMC standing committee president V Srinivas Reddy and labour leader Raji Reddy were present on the occasion. Among those who attended the meeting include TRS youth leader Muta Jaisimha, Telangana auto union leader Maraiah, TRS leaders M Prabhakar, Shankar Mudhiraj, Madhav and others.
