Krishnaiah urges leaders to support BC quota Bill

Basheerbagh: Former MLA and national president of BC Welfare Association R Krishnaiah has appealed to all the political parties to support BC Bill which was recently introduced in the Parliament. He was participating in a round-table which he held with 112 BC caste associations and 26 different BC associations here on Sunday.

Praising YSRCP parliamentary leader Vijayasai Reddy for introducing the BC Bill in Parliament, Krishnaiah urged all the political parties to extend their support in passing the Bill. He urged the BC MPs to support the Bill irrespective of their party line. He also appealed to the Telangana Chief Minister to take the initiative to get the Bill passed in Parliament.

He warned that backward classes community members would revolt and raise a nation-wide movement if the Bill was not passed. Among those who participated in the conference include national vice-president of BC Welfare Association Gujja Krishna, leader of Vishwa Brahmana Association Venkatachari, Uppara Association leader Srinivasulu, BC leaders Sangameshwar, Lakshman, Vemula Venkatesh and other BC leaders.
