KTR, Harish to launch works worth 80 cr
Patancheru: Ministers K Tarakarama Rao and T Harish Rao will tour Sangareddy district on October 15 to launch several development works costing Rs 80.84 lakh, announced local MLA G Mahipal Reddy here on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, Reddy listed the development works: mandal parishad shopping complex, ZP girls high school building, GHMC circle office, GHMC multipurpose function hall and Patancheru bypass road (cost Rs 10 crore); Beeramguda-Kishreddypet four-lane road (Rs 48 crore); guest house (Rs 80 lakh being spent by local MLA); Swamy Ayyappa and Markendaya Swamy temples on Beeramguda hillock and Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy temple. The MLA appealed to the people to make the tour of the two ministers a grand success.
Reddy claimed that recession was prevailing elsewhere in the world, but such conditions would not be existing in the Patancheru constituency, thanks to many thriving heavy industries and real estate sector. Referring to the recent claims by the Opposition parties that the Ramachandrapuram GHMC circle office was being shifted to Patancheru, the MLA advised them not to resort to such 'cheap' politics. He pointed out that the Patancheru GHMC office was existing right from the days when the corporation came into being. Reddy stated that officials would be available at both the old and the new office buildings.
He also announced construction of a hostel hub in 20 acres in Inolu village of Patancheru mandal where 60 acres of government land was available and of graveyards for various sections of people also in 30 acres.
