KTR lauds TSCAB chief for services rendered
Hyderabad: The BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday asked who was the ‘Bali devata’ who killed thousands of children of Telangana.
Taking to Twitter, Rama Rao posed several questions to the Congress party. He asked as to who was the reason for the death of thousands of people in Telangana and why there was a need to construct a martyrs memorial? “In 1952, who fired at city college and killed six students who were fighting against the combined state of Andhra Pradesh and for Hyderabad to be a separate state? Congress government.
Who shot dead 370 children of Telangana in the first phase of the movement in 1969-71? When Telangana Praja Samithi Party won 11 out of 14 seats in the 1971 parliamentary elections, who destroyed that party?” asked KTR. Meanwhile, the BRS leader appreciated party leaders Konduri Ravinder Rao and Gongidi Mahender Reddy who had resigned from their TSCAB posts on Friday.
Rao said that these leaders followed the path of the BRS chief KCR without bowing down for the posts to join the Congress party. Their name will be immortalised in the history of the cooperative sector of the state, as they had managed the co-operative banks brilliantly during their tenure, he said.
