Hyderabad: Taking serious exception to the charge sheet released by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar against the State government, TRS Working President KT Rama Rao on Tuesday fired a 50-question challenge to the BJP leaders. The TRS leader said, "the slogan of BJP is 'Becho India (sell India), while the slogan of TRS is 'Socho India' (think India)."

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao termed the BJP leaders 'Cousins of Goebbels.' The BJP government is on a selling spree. They are selling Air India, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), and are also privatising the prestigious Indian Railways among others. "We are scared they will sell Charminar, Golconda, and privatise GHMC if given a chance. BJP is working with a sole slogan 'Becho India'. We appeal to the people 'Socho India," said Rao.

Rubbishing Jawadekar's charge sheet, Rao said that in the charge sheet released, they termed Telangana government TRS-MIM sarkar. "In reality, we were never in alliance with MIM. This shows their ill intentions and their hatred for the Muslim community and the union minister shamelessly releases the charge sheet," said Rao.

Rama Rao said that Telangana achieved exceptional progress in just six years, which the states like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand created by the BJP couldn't achieve. "Youth of Hyderabad should file charge sheets on BJP for cancelling the ITIR project to Hyderabad. Migrant workers should file charge sheets on BJP for charging money for their rail travel and food expenses during the lockdown," he fumed. He said that even God should file charge sheet on BJP for using the term 'Act of God' and blaming God for the slowdown to cover your failed economic policies and inefficiency. "When we demand our rightful share in taxes, they term us as separatists. But in reality, BJP leaders are the real separatists who were with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir," said the TRS leader.

The TRS leader shot questions to the BJP as to why charge sheets should not be issued against them on for selling the PSUs, which generate thousands of crores of income, cheaply as chips.

He also questioned the BJP on Telangana issues such as transferring seven mandals to Andhra Pradesh, for not relapsing GST dues to Telangana, for not delivering promises made in the Reorganisation Act, for not giving even a single rupee additionally to Hyderabad, for not releasing funds for flood relief et al. He slammed the Centre for not taking steps for tribal varsity, steel factory, ITIR, Navodaya schools, and many others. The minister launched a blitzkrieg on the Modi Government for adopting policies to sell off the benefit making public sector undertakings (PSUs). He accused the Union deputy home minister Kishan Reddy of indulging false information campaign on the TRS government. He asked whether the Modi regime kept its promise of 2 crores of jobs a year and 12 crores in 6 years. The people have to fight charge sheets on the centre for not giving Rs 15 lakh per head he said.

He challenged the BJP leaders to show any other cities better than Hyderabad. Noted agency Mercer has recently announced that Hyderabad is the best livable city in the country, he claimed. "It was you who formed the government with PDP in Jammu and Kashmir. You shared power with separatists," said KTR, who is also the minister for municipal administration, urban development, industry and information technology.
