KTR to participate in key development activities today

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister (MAUD) K Taraka Rama Rao will be inaugurating several development works and lay stone for a mega project, all worth Rs 100 crore, in Kukatpally division on Thursday. Mayor Bonthu Rammohan will also participate in the programme.

108 double bedroom houses which are constructed at a cost of Rs 9.34 crore at Chittaramma Basti will be inaugurated by the Minister. He would also open an indoor stadium set up at a cost of Rs 5.65 cr at 6th phase in Kukatpally. A modern fish market at a cost of Rs 2.78 cr at 3rd phase in Kukatpally will also be opened. Later, foundation-laying programme for railway over bridge works in Khaithalapur being taken up at a cost of Rs 83.06 crore will be held.

Details of 2BHK houses

The 108 2BHK houses constructed at Chittaramma Basti include infrastructure facilities provided in an extent of 0.47 acres land. The pattern of construction of building is cellar, stilt and nine floors. The cost per dwelling unit (DU) is Rs 8.65 lakh, including infrastructure.

The total project cost is Rs 934.20 lakh. Each house is built in an area of 560 sft. There are many facilities provided such as internal roads, underground drainage, storm water drains, external electrification, water supply (sump, borewell & overhead tank), two lifts (8 passengers), 18 shops, 108 two-wheeler parking and stilts, watchman room, community hall at stilt. Every house consists of built up area, living room, two-bed rooms, kitchen, utility, and two toilets.
