Lawyers stage protest over shifting of High Court

Kukatpally: Members of the Kukatpally Bar Association on Friday boycotted court work in response to the call given by the Telangana State High Court Association to protest against the shifting of the High Court to Budvel. They also expressed resentment over irregularities allegedly resorted by the collegium in the appointment of judges.

Among those who boycotted work were bar association president Akhilesh, general secretary V V Radhakrishna, vice-president B Anil Babu, joint secretary Ch Krishna Kumar, treasurer Hari Shankar Reddy, sports secretary Yadayya, executive committee members Harshvardhan Reddy, J Kapilender, G Ravi Kumar, B Vinay Kumar, besides senior/junior advocates.
