Life Insurance Corporation holds yoga camp

Sanjeevaiah Park: Life Insurance Corporation of India, South Central Zone, Hyderabad, celebrated International Day of Yoga to propagate a healthy life through yoga. LIC organised a yoga camp at Damodaram Sanjeeviah Memorial Park at 6.30 am on Friday. K Sudhakar Reddy, Executive Director (Health Insurance), Central Office, formally inaugurated the event. Yoga gurus from Love Yoga Foundation taught yoga tips and showed the way for a healthy life.

Regional Manager (Marketing) PVS Nagaraja Rao, S Nagesh, Chief (Health Insurance), S Thakur, Chief Engineer, N Lalitha, Regional Manager (Corporate Ccommunications), and M Ravi Kumar, Regional Manager (Health Insurance) and other top officials participated in the event.

While giving his inaugural address, K Sudhakar Reddy, ED (HI), said that it was a great opportunity for LIC, being the country's largest life insurer serving close to 29 crore policyholders, to propagate the message of 'Healthy life through Yoga.' He made an appeal to all the participants to continue the practice of Yoga for being healthy forever. He also stressed the need of financial security in the form of health insurance in case of unforeseen health exigencies.

PVS Nagaraja Rao, Regional Manager (Marketing), called upon everyone to ensure sufficient care to be healthy always. He added, "Yoga helps healthy life." He also expressed that all the LIC policyholders should receive maturity claim on insurance policies by keeping themselves healthy.

On this occasion, M Ravi Kumar Regional Manager (Health Insurance), said that LIC is currently offering two unique Health Insurance policies viz., Jeevan Arogya and Cancer Cover, to cater to various people in different segments, according to a press release issued by N Lalitha, Regional Manager (CC), LIC.
