Maha pilgrims to embark on Haj yatra from hyderabad city
Nampally: A total of 168 Haj pilgrims from the two districts of Maharashtra, Latur and Nanded, will embark their flight from Hyderabad. A delegation of Haj Committee members and the officials from the state held a meeting with their Telangana counterparts at Haj House on Monday in this regard.
The delegation was led by Chairman of Maharashtra State Haj Committee Jamal Siddiqui, Imtiyaz Kazi, executive officer, Gafar Magdum, section officer and Zubair Ahmed, another official of the committee.
Later briefing to media persons, Chairman of Telangana State Haj Committee Mohammed Masiullah said that the TS Haj Committee has always remained proactive with its best services, which are known across the nation. He assured that the Haj pilgrims from Maharashtra would receive services on par with that of the locals.
Acknowledging the modern services being delivered by the TS Haj Committee, Jamal Siddiqui said that this time a total of 14,623 pilgrims are going for Haj from Maharashtra. While most of them will be taking their flights from Mumbai, a few others will embark at Aurangabad and Nagpur. He said as per the aspirations of the remaining 168 Haj pilgrims, the Haj Committee of Maharashtra decided to coordinate with their counterpart in Telangana.
He hoped that these pilgrims would be served well and assured to extend all the help needed. The visiting chairman also said that about 10 persons from their committee would be present in the city for assisting the pilgrims from Maharashtra.
