Mala Mahanadu hails AP govt move
Lakdikapul: Mala Mahanadu welcomed the AP government's decision to start English medium in government schools. This was stated by president of Mala Mahanadu G Chennaiah, while speaking at Mala Mahanadu national executive committee meeting here on Sunday.
Speaking at the meeting, Chennaiah lauded AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for his measures to uplift poor, downtrodden sections of the society. Telangana CM KCR has a lot to learn from AP CM in this regard, he observed.
He praised Jagan's decisions to provide 50 per cent reservations in nominated posts, contract works for SCs, STs and BCs. Hailing the AP government decision of introducing English medium in government schools, he said that this move would bridge social differences in the state and revive government schools. He appealed to the poor people to join their wards in government schools.
Secretary of Mala Mahanadu Vadala Bhaskar, Telangana working president J Srinivas, Kadapa district Mala Mahanadu leader Bellam Vijay Mohan, Kurnool leader Prasad, OU student leaders Purmalla Ashok Rao, Rambabu and others attended the meeting.
