Meritorious students of govt school feted

Vanasthalipuram: Sikh Vidhya Committee (SVC) presented awards to meritorious students of Vanasthalipuram Government School on Sunday.

LB Nagar MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy was the chief guest. He lauded SVC for their gesture towards students. He said the government schools have well-qualified and experienced teaching staff. "They are rendering value-based education. Students should develop interest towards studies," he added.

The MLA also appreciated Chintala Ravi Kumar who provided overhead water tank and called upon everyone to render help. The staff brought things to be developed in the school to the notice of Sudheer Reddy. He said he would ensure the school has all the amenities.
