MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav launch 2.58-cr develop works

Serilingampally: Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi declared here on Wednesday that there would be no going back on ensuring development of the constituency and that he would ensure completion of all works with quality so as to prevent any inconvenience to people.

He was speaking after launching several development works including CC roads and RCC pipelines costing over Rs.2.58 crore in the Serilingampally division along with local Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav.

They laid foundation for 600 mm cc pipeline work from government school near Lingampally railway bridge to Papireddy Colony main road to be taken up at a cost of Rs 59.4 lakh. They also launched 450 mm RCC underground pipeline costing Rs 39.90 lakh in Nehrunagar and Adarshnagar Road No.2 and near Gopinagar Hanuman temple costing Rs 39.75 lakh.

Addressing the gathering, they were striving for the development of Serilingampally division so as to solve people's problems. They declared that no work has been stopped as special funds of Rs.18 crore were being utilised, along with each circle allotment of Rs.30 crore, for taking white-topping of roads. Roads of 125 km were being given to private contractors to ensure that there were no potholes along with maintenance, at the instance of Minister K Taraka Rama Rao.

Both the MLA and the corporator declared their resolve to develop Serilingampally 100 per cent. They also laid foundation for CC road works, along with members of the welfare association, in Sriramnagar B block in street nos 25 and 40 at a cost of Rs.59.75 lakh and also near Sai Hansika Enclave C block costing Rs.59.85 lakh. Residents of Sriramnagar B Block appealed to the MLA and the corporator to solve their UGD and CC road problems as well.

Among those who accompanied Gandhi and Yadav were DE Srinivas, AE Sunil Kumar, former councilors Soma Das, Ramaswamy Yadav, Rajeswaramma, TRS leaders Baddam Kondal Reddy, Raju Yadav, Chintakindi Ravinder Goud, Prakash Goud, Ramana, Linga Reddy, Padma Rao, Ward Members Podugu Rambabu, Srikala, Parveen, Ramu, Sriramnagar B Block Association president Jaganmohan Reddy, and secretary Kranthi.
