MLA Arekapudi Gandhi vows more funds for Gachibowli division

Gachibowli: Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Wednesday laid foundation for several development works in Lakshmi Vihar Phase I, Indiranagar, Prashanth Hills, Gachibowli Darga costing over Rs 1.53 crore, in the presence of MLC M S Prabhakar Rao, Corporators Saibaba, Ragam Nagender Yadav and GHMC officials.

The works include: construction of 600 mm RCC pipeline in Lakshminagar Phase I (cost Rs 53.65 lakh); laying of UGD pipeline in Indiranagar (cost Rs 39.65 lakh); building of storm water drain in Prashanth Hills (cost Rs 20 lakh); and, UGD pipeline in Gachibowli Dargah (cost Rs 40 lakh).

Addressing gatherings, the MLA stated that he would secure more funds for the division to make it an ideal place for residents. He said the works, besides provision of basic facilities like roads, would be taken up in a phased manner. Gandhi advised the officials to expeditiously complete the works without compromising on quality.

Among the officials present at the functions were DE Srinivas, AE Krishnaveni, Works Inspectors Srikanth, Vishwanath, Grandhalaya Samstha Director Ganesh Mudiraj, TRS leaders Sanjiva Reddy, Uppalapati Srikanth, Raju Yadav, Narne Srinivas, Sampanth, Raju Naik, Naresh, Vasanth Kumar, Jagdish, Yadagiri, Vittal, Narendar, Raju, Satish, Salauddin, Srikanth and Anjamma.
