MLA Kaleru attends Badi Bata programme
Amberpet: Kaleru Venkatesh, Amberpet MLA, said that each government teacher should try to admit at least 40 students in government schools in order to strengthen them. He was speaking at Jayashankar Badi Bata programme held at the government school in Bathukamma Kunta on Tuesday.
Venkatesh said the CM KCR had been striving hard to strengthen government schools. As part of his efforts, 119 new gurukul schools had been started recently, he said. Gurukul school students had been achieving good ranks on a par with private schools, he said.
Venkatesh noted that the government has been providing better facilities in schools. He urged parents to join their children in government schools as well-trained teachers were appointed in the government schools to provide quality education.
Among those who participated in the programme were local corporator Padmavathy Reddy, local leaders Arun Kumar Reddy, Sriramulu, Anand Goud, Srikanth, Dhanunjay, Krishna Goud, school staff, students and others.
