HANS Impact: MLA moved by plight of people, tours colonies

Ramachandrapuram: Reacting to a news item published on Tuesday in The Hans India on hardships faced by people of divisions 111 and 112 of PC Puram on account of improper/poor quality dumping yard, sanitation and CC road works, Patancheru MLA Gudam Mahipal Reddy warned that action would be taken against the staff for causing inconvenience to the residents.

Speaking after undertaking a whirlwind tour in ESI Road, Srinivasanagar Colony, SC Basti, Old Ramachandrapuram and inspecting the works in 112 division along with corporator Thota Anjaiah and GHMC officials, Reddy asserted that action would be taken against such staff for carrying out poor quality/incomplete works.

During the tour Reddy and Anjaiah took to task GHMC officials, who were present, with a strong warning that repeating such work would warrant action. The MLA directed officials to expedite CC road works, with adequate width, so that residents don't face inconvenience. Reddy asked contractors to take up sanctioned works with quality failing, he stressed, which action should be taken.

Among those who were present during the tour were GHMC Deputy Commissioner Balayya, AMOH Lakshman Singh, SS Gopal Rao, EE Sudarshan Goud, DE Venkataramana, AE Krishnaveri, HMWSSB officials, Ward Members Narender Reddy, S Krishnaveni Swamy, Ilesh Yadav, Pedda Raju.
