MLC condemns delay in PRC implementation

Baghlingampally: The MLC representing teachers' constituency Alugubelli Narsi Reddy demanded the state government to release interim relief and two pending DAs to the state government employees without any further delay. He was speaking at the state committee meeting of Telangana State United Teachers' Federation (TSUTF) held here at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Narsi Reddy, who attended the meeting as chief guest, condemned the state government for the inordinate delay in implementing PRC, which was due from July 2018. He said that the CM constituted a three-member committee for PRC implementation a year ago, but it is yet to submit its report. He demanded the government to announce interim relief (IR) in view of the delay.

The MLC also demanded the state government to issue appointments immediately to the teachers who were selected through TRT in order to strengthen government schools. He said that the parents are losing confidence as the vacant teacher posts have not been recruited. He demanded the government to recruit teacher posts before June 12.

President of TSUTF CH Ramulu demanded the government to formulate service rules and announce promotions to Pandit and PET teachers. Rejecting the government's view that premiums for health cards to be paid by employees, he said that government is responsible for the healthcare of government employees.
