Jeedimetla: Peoples' organisations extended solidarity to the striking RTC workers. CITU, DYFI, KVPS, AIDWA took out a rally from Shapurnagar to Jeedimetla bus depot, here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Narsi Reddy said it was not fair that the State government deputes IAS officers for the talks. Instead the chief minister or ministers should take part in the discussions for the solution, he suggested.
"TSRTC has assets worth Rs 80, 000 crore and CM wants to gift them to his benamis'', he criticised. He demanded that a cabinet sub-committee be constituted for finding solution to the strike. CPM district secretary Satyam, leaders K Lakshman, BN Sudarshan and others were present.
