Qutbullapur: Congress candidate from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said the people of the State would give the same result in parliament elections like the MLC election results.

The Congress working president said the verdict of the people would be a slap on the face of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He said the defeat of the ruling Party was a reflection of anger of the graduates and teachers in the State. He also alleged that both Chief Minister KCR and his son KTR were acting like as a king and a prince of the State and said the duo was treating the State as their "kingdom."

Addressing an election meeting at Qutbullapur market yard, Revanth Reddy urged the people to vote for him in the upcoming elections. Pointing out that the TRS-backed candidate trailed at fourth position in the MLC elections, he said it was a clear evidence that the people are angry with the "misrule" of the TRS party.

He also said the elections had ushered in the beginning of the good days in the State. He said it was the people who had won in the MLC elections. He urged the voters to vote for those work for them. Attacking his rival from the TRS party indirectly, Revanth said those who had businesses would not get time to serve the people.

The Congress leader alleged that former MP from the seat Ch Malla Reddy, who did nothing for his constituency in his five-year term, was now trying to thrust his son-in-law on the people of the constituency. He said he was confident that the MLC results would be repeated in the MP elections, too.
