Mohammad Mehmood Ali inaugurates Haj House in town
Siddipet: Home Minister Mohammad Mehmood Ali said the ruling TRS Party was a true secular party in the country. Inaugurating Haj House, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore in Siddipet town on Wednesday along with former minister T Harish Rao, Mehmood Ali said the TRS was a secular party and it was giving equal importance to all the religions in the State. "Muslims in the State were living happily with pride and self-respect during the TRS regime, he claimed.
Stating that that minorities were getting better opportunities in education as the State government was offering a financial help of Rs 20 lakh to them to pursue higher education abroad, the Home Minister said. Credit of giving such huge amount goes to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is a visionary, he added.
In his speech, Harish Rao said Siddipet was being developed directly under the supervision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhara Rao. "With KCR's initiative, we are able to develop the town with all facilities. The TRS boss has shown his respect to the Muslims by giving them top posts in the State. There are 204 Muslim minority schools in the State, thus, giving boost to education, he added.
