Mohammad Pahelwan who held in Akbaruddin attack case dies in Hyderabad

Mohammad Pahelwan who was arrested in the attack of AIMIM floor leader and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi case has died of heart attack here at Yashoda Hospital in Malakpet. He was 60.

Pahelwan is survived by three sons and two daughters.

Pahelwan is believed to be man behind the attacks on Akbaruddin eight years ago. He was recently released on bail in the case. Cases were also filed against him for alleged land grabbing in Barkas, Bandlaguda and Shaheen Nagar.

Akbaruddin was shot and critically wounded when some assailants attacked him while carry out a rally near Barkas to his constituency. The bullet remains are still lodged near his kidney after the doctors warned its removal will affect his legs.
