Mojo TV CEO being harassed: All India Christian Journalists Forum

Basheerbagh: All India Christian Journalists Forum (AICJF) demanded the State government to withdraw the false SC, ST Atrocities Act filed against Mojo TV CEO. Speaking at a press conference here, the president of the forum, Jerusalem Mathaiah alleged that false cases were filed against Mojo TV CEO Revathi by the State government to harass her as part of political intimidation.

Condemning the misuse of law intended to protect Dalits by the government, Mathaiah said that it was illegal to file such cases against a woman journalist. He demanded the government to withdraw the case with immediate effect and ensure that constitutional values and journalists' self-respect were preserved.

Mathaiah said that representation in this regard would be sent to the Chief Minister, chief secretary, home department secretary, DCP, ACP, SC Commission chairman and Press Academy Chairman.
