Motorists suffer as sewage overflows

Secunderabad: Teachers Colony faces severe overflow of drainage water causing inconvenience to residents. The situation is the same for the last three months and has got worse following the heavy downpour in the last few days.

Repeated complaints to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) proved futile. There has been a rise in dengue and viral fever cases in Teachers Colony. Dhevish, a local resident, said, "It is difficult even to walk on the road as motorists whizz past, splashing water."
