MRPS extends support to RTC workers strike

Osmania University: Telangana Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) extended support to the indefinite strike by unions of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Monday. MRPS national president Medi Papaiah and state president Vangapalli Srinivas said the government should consider demands of RTC workers. "The workers played vital role during Telangana agitation.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy merged AP-RTC in the state government. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao failed to fulfill his electoral promise for RTC workers. We condemn the statement of KCR threatening the workers of removing them from their jobs if took part in the strike," the duo added.

They demanded justice to RTC workers. TS-MRPS working president Jannu Kanakaraj, Regunta Sunil, Kolluri Venkat, MSF state president Kongari Shankar, state leaders Ramesh, Chandu, Goverdhan, Praveen, Ashok, Tirupathi, Nagaraju, Srikanth and others were present.
