National Students Union of India protests over Inter results fiasco
Dharna Chowk: The activists of National Students' Union of India (NSUI), led by Vedur Chahla, general secretary of NSUI, staged protest, condemning the government's inaction on Inter fiasco, here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Vedur Chahla condemned the state government for its failure in taking action against the then Education Minister Jagadish Reddy and the management of Globarena for irregularities in Inter Board. He demanded the government to refund revaluation fees collected from Inter students.
Chahla found fault with the state government for not announcing ex-gratia to the Inter students who committed suicides. He said that NSUI would lay siege to the state assembly if the justice is not done to Inter students. NSUI leaders Ajay, Abhijith, Mohid, Venki, Kalyan and others participated in the protest.
