National youth award winner feted
Musheerabad: A social activist of Bolakpur, Panuganti Mahesh, who is a national youth award-winner, was felicitated on Monday in New Delhi during the international youth conference.
Interacting over phone from Delhi with The Hans India, he said the conference, organised as part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations, was attended by several foreign delegates. Mahesh said he had received an award for creating social awareness on the Central government's welfare schemes from Prof. Tansal of Nepal, who is a world famous peace ambassador.
Among those present were National Youth Awards Federation president Javed Jamedar, secretary Manish Gawai, Gandhian S S Subba Rao, and 500 delegates representing 29 States, he stated.
