NGO rendering free physiotherapy care
Kukatpally: A non-profit organisation, NRI Seva Foundation, located at Vivekananda Nagar Colony, has been providing free physiotherapy to the needy for the past six years. Started in 2013 by Kolasani Harish, an IT employee, it has branches at Moti Nagar and Gachibowli as well.
Grandhi Gandhi, Director of Seva Foundation, said, "We have four male and female doctors. We also have a centre at the Sports Authority of India." Jyothi, a doctor, said, "Here we are giving advance treatment for patients better than private hospitals." Gangadhar, a patient, shared, "I am suffering from pain and on the suggestion from a friend, I came here. This is the second day and I am feeling much better after being administered dryneedle therapy."
Sona, a housewife, said, "I fell down and ever since I have been having muscular pain in my knees. I am undergiong treatment for the last 14 days and now I experience some relief."
