NGOs ultimatum to resolve key issues

Abids: Telangana Non-gazetted Officers' Association (TNGO) president Karam Ravinder Reddy has demanded that the state government resolve issues of government employees. He was speaking at the employee issues resolution meeting organised by TNGO here at DEO office on Sunday. The meeting was presided over by TNGO Hyderabad district president Mujeeb.

Speaking on the occasion, Karam Ravinder Reddy and TNGO secretary M Rajender Reddy expressed their dissatisfaction over government indifference in resolving various pending issues of government employees despite bringing to the notice of government for the past two years.

They urged the government to fulfil their demands such as implementation of PRC, bringing back Telangana employees working in AP, revival of old pension scheme after cancelling contributory pension scheme, payment of salaries to library and marketing committee staff through treasury.

They also demanded that the state government call RTC employees who are on strike for talks to resolve the strike. The leaders said that they issued a notice to the Chief Secretary for resolution of their issues and warned that they would unitedly fight against the government. About 2,000 government employees attended the meeting.

Among those who attended the meeting were Kumari Rechal, secretary of gazette officers' association Sathyanarayana, Class IV employees association president Gaddam Gnyaneshwar, employee leaders Khader Bin Hasan, Mahipal, Hyderbad district TNGO secretary G Prabhakar, treasurer J Balraj, Vikram Kumar, Raj Kumar, Umar Khan, Hari Babu, Muraliraj, Khalid Ahmed, K Srinivas, Shankar, Venkatesh, Sujatha, Geetha and others.
