No weird hours for eating out in city, vouch foodies

Night life in the Hyderabad is slowly coming to normalcy, as the government is gradually lifting all kinds of restrictions on businesses. Youth can be seen turning themselves nighthawks and enjoying around the city, visiting drive-ins and pubs and enjoying lip-smacking street foods.

With people again venturing, albeit with all precautions, street food vendors and food joints are hopeful of heydays again. Given the preference of Hyderabadis for lip-smacking delicacies amidst crowds and in streets, mouthwatering items are slowly making their way back again, in busy areas like Old City, Koti, Begum Bazaar, Madhapur.

"Being an absolute Hyderabadi, I always love fast food and enjoy nightlife like never ever. Thankfully, after a log gap, restaurants including food courts are opening, while maintaining all Covid norms. Now, people again look forward to eat mouthfuls of biryani and fast-food. Nightlife particularly at Charminar is a forever bliss," says P Jahnavi, an IT employee.

Eateries are prepping up for brisk hours once again, many are going out for midnight delicacies on streets. "In the past 2-3 months, street food business used to be very dull as people didn't prefer it, whereas now the business is slowly coming to normal. The same goes with the restaurants and pubs.

Most of the drive-ins like One Drive In, Kings Drive in, I see a lot of people rushing out at midnights too. This feels good," says Johnson, a resident of Secunderabad.

There are many dishes which are available mostly during night hours. A lot of them are Arabian dishes. They are available from at least after 10 pm and till 2 am in areas like Barkas, Errakunta, Mehdipatnam, Mallepally, Tolichowki.

"For having Arabian dishes like Mandi, Kabsa, Laham, grills, wraps, doner kebab, shawarma etc. one has to visit the Arabian restaurants which are usually opened till mid-night. Every weekend, I along with my family visit and have such dishes in Arabian restaurants," beams Mohammed Nayeemuddin, a student at a private college.
