Nomination forms with unfilled columns will be rejected: Telangana CEO Rajat Kumar
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Rajat Kumar said that nomination forms with unfilled columns would be rejected by the authorities. Even if one column is not filled it could be rejected, the CEO said.
He appealed to all contestants to carefully go through the filling of applications before submitting them to Returning Officers. He further said that all candidates must submit Form 26 along with the nomination papers. Even if any candidate has properties abroad, it has to be mentioned without fail, he stressed.
Rajat Kumar said that the Election Commission is focussing on election expenditure in all segments, more so in ten segments. The CEO said that school children should not be roped in during electioneering by any political party. He warned of action by the commission in case of violations of MCC (Model Code of Conduct).
