The college right in the heart of city has good infrastructure with well-equipped labs, good library and spacious buildings which are effectively manned by a dedicated team of faculty with over 15 years of experience. The college has branches at Narayanaguda and Chikkadapally.

The college believes interactions and technology would help maintain discipline of wards through parent-lecturer meetings, weekend tests. The performance of the students is sent on monthly basis to their parents through phone. Systems such as bio-metric attendance, CC cameras and online reports can be accessed any time from the college website.

The college involves all the three stakeholders that include teachers, students and parents by conducting counselling sessions individually. The principal makes himself available in the evenings for interaction with parents.

The college has achieved 94 per cent in the recent Intermediate results. It offers various coaching programmes under the brand name of 'Srichakra IIT& NEET Academy.' Coaching is being given for IIT-JEE, BITSAT, NEET, AIIMS, EAMCET, CA-Foundation, CIVILS-Group Foundation, CLAT etc.

Over 80% of students secured seats in reputed Engineering colleges. State 10th rank in EAMCET, all India 10th rank in CPT, 652nd rank in IIT Advanced and 357 JEE MAINS qualifications are a few achievements of the college to mention.

IIT & NEET long-term programme is through admission test and concessions are offered, based on test performance. Students scored best percentile of 98.9 in JEE Mains in January 2019, and many students scored above 90%.

Scholarships are being offered to meritorious students in the form of fee concession. Each class is adopted by one of the senior faculty members and he takes the responsibility of the individual class members. Subject-based seminars are conducted, besides elocutions, quiz competitions, to encourage the students.

Special care is being taken for non-English medium and rural background students. Best academic performers are awarded at the annual day functions by eminent personalities of the society. Absenteeism and indiscipline are dealt with strong hand. In the same manner, mobiles and other electronic gadgets are not allowed into the classrooms to help students focus on studies completely.

Systematic study material and periodic assignments amid congenial atmosphere brings the best out of the students. The college treats language subjects as tools of expression, written communication and appropriate attention to improve confidence of students. To bring in an element of professionalism, students, both boys and girls, are strictly advised to wear only formals to the college.

The college is keen on encouraging students in participate extracurricular activities such as NCC, sports, Yoga, communication and soft skills besides regular activities like public speaking, group discussions, self-governance day, cultural and college festivals. This reaped fruits as many have shown exceptional skills in various sports like chess and fencing, and also excelled in art forms like dance.

Director Dr S Shravan Kumar says that Intermediate is the phase of the life where one tends to have many distractions often veering off the path. "This being the crucial phase we have to nurture them to be ready for the future assignments.

The highlights of the college are: separate campuses for boys and girls, after-school hours of classes for slow learners, facility of French and Arabic as second language along with regular languages, etc. The college offers MPC, Bi PC, MEC and CEC groups.

In order to relieve the students of stress, the college follows a systematic and methodical academic schedule. Personality development and motivational classes are taken for students at Rama Krishna Math and in-house classes by eminent scholars like Dr BV Pattabhiram, Yandamoori Veerendranath to name a few. Student counseling and guidance cell helps them to cope up with physical, emotional and psychological changes for the overall development.
