Officials told to gear up for civic polls

Sangareddy: District Collector M Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday directed RDOs and Municipal Commissioners to come up with voters list and upload them online. He directed the officials concerned to inspect polling centers, strong rooms and ballot boxes to make sure they are ready. He directed them to conduct second phase training for polling staff as a few have been transferred or retired.

The Collector also asked Municipal Commissioners to take necessary steps to ensure that smooth conduct of elections. Zaheerabad RDO Ramesh Babu, Sanga Reddy REDO Srinu, Municipal Commissioners and others were present.
