One killed after car crashes into hotel in Hyderabad

A person was killed after a car crashed into a hotel here at Miyapur on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Afzal. Four other motorists were also injured in the accident and were shifted to a nearby hospital.

According to the police, Afzal was working as a correspondent in a private school. The police also said that the accused Santosh drove the vehicle in an intoxicated state.

In a similar case, a car rammed into a TSRTC bus here at Jubilee Hills checkpost. Two people sustained serious injuries in the mishap and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

In another case, seven daily wage labourers injured when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling hit by a car at Narsingi police station limits.
