Overflowing drain causes stench

Father Balaiah Nagar: Residents of Father Balaiah Nagar have been facing hardships due to overflowing drainage on the roads. The residents around had another grouse. Many streets in the ward are battered roads due to digging of new drainage lines.

S Kumar, a shopkeeper, said, "The road is full of potholes and water flows till the ankle during rains. There have been incidents of people not able to cross the path due to excess flow of water." Being near to the bus stop, the civic authorities should give this area extra attention, say residents.
