Paddy purchase center opens

Patancheru: Local legislator Mahipal Reddy inaugurated a paddy procurement center at Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) in Lakdharam village on Wednesday.

He lauded state government for making special arrangements for purchasing paddy. He announced the minimum support price (MSP) for A Grade paddy is Rs 1,830, for B Grade it is Rs 1,815.

He asked farmers to make sure moisture in the produce should be 17 % before bringing to the centers. Mandal Agriculture Officer Usha, TRS leaders Dasharatha Reddy, Venkat Reddy, Manik Reddy and others were present.
