Peerla Jatara begins at Manbapur village

Gammadidala: The three-day Ali Abbas 'Peerla Jatara' was launched in Manbapur village amid a spirit of bonhomie among all castes and communities in the village, in coordination with local elders. Rajayya Goud holds the Ali Abbas title rights and family trustees Prabhakar Rao, Kishan Rao and Venkat Rao launched the festival.

Devotees from surrounding villages and Hyderabad flocked to Manbapur to fulfill their vows by presenting flower 'datties' and sweets. Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy who was the chief guest had 'darshan' of the 'peerlu.'

Among those present were ZPTC Member Kumar Goud, MPP Siddi Praveena, Sarpanch Kanjarla Srinivas, Upa-sarpanch Dayanand, Ward Members Kothakonda Jyothi, Nagaraju, Mahesh, Dayanand, villagers Sai Yadav, Kothakonda Bhaskar, Shankarayya, Chakali Srinivas, Krishnayya and Saleem.
