People wanted an efficient PM: Kishan Reddy
Amberpet: The successful BJP candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency G Kishan Reddy said here on Thursday that as people were seeking an efficient Prime Minister they had favoured the party and gave it a huge majority.
Speaking after being declared elected, Reddy claimed that voters in all States 'had not favoured family politics', while describing the Lok Sabha poll verdict had 'heralding the attempt to end family rule.'
Referring to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's boast of winning 16 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and ridiculing the BJP, Reddy stated that nobody had thought that the party would bag four LS seats.
The MP-elected said people had voted to give a huge majority to the party and chosen Modi once again as PM, despite the varied allegations and false propaganda made by the opposition parties. He stated that Modi would pave the way for building a corruption-free country and initiate steps to attract huge investments. "The steps would enhance the country's prestige among the world nations," he asserted.
