Peoples union protests over Rao's arrest

Himayatnagar: Peoples' union leaders conducted a protest on Monday at Himayatnagar Y Junction against the arrest of Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao. They tried to burn an effigy of government, but local police reached the protest and arrested the activists. Speaking on the occasion, they said, "Government is playing with the lives of RTC employees. Sambasiva Rao was arrested just to divert the issue."
