PJTSAU VC V Praveen Rao calls on Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) Vice Chancellor Dr V Praveen Rao has called on newly appointed Telangana State Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

Praveen Rao explained about the university activities in teaching, research and extension areas. He also briefed her about measures to help double farmers income, organic farming etc. Further, he explained about the PJTSAU's national and international collaborations with prestigious institutions in India and abroad, student teachers exchange programs.

Praveen Rao informed the Governor about the university rankings given by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and other institutions. He invited her for inaugurating a regional workshop on 'Youth as torch-bearers for business-oriented agriculture,' which is proposed to be held next month.
