Police flayed for attack on advocates

Nampally: The general secretary of Criminal Advocates Association, Balaraju demanded that the Central government take severe action against the police who attacked advocates at a Delhi court. He was speaking during a protest staged against the attack on advocates here on Tuesday.

A large number of advocates undertook a rally from Nampally court to Nampally main road in protest. Speaking on the occasion, Balaraju alleged that judicial power given to police under 41 CRPC ACT was being misused by police. He termed the police attack on advocates as dastardly act.

He demanded the Centre to bring a law to protect advocates. Among those who participated in the protest include P Krishnaiah, Chintala Krishna, Mallesh and others.
