Police rescue abandoned infant

LB Nagar: An abandoned baby of 10-15 days old was rescued and handed over to Shishu Vihar by police on Thursday. According to police, the infant wasfound beside a construction building near Big Bazaar in LB Nagar.Sub-Inspector of LB Nagar police station Ravibrought the infant to Rainbow Hospital in LB Nagar requested the hospital managementto check the condition of the baby asthe Child Welfare Department officials were unavailable during the night hours.

The hospital management took care of the child the whole night and health condition of baby was recorded normal. As parents of the baby were not yet traced, Sub-Inspector Ravi handed over the infant to Yusufguda Sishu Vihar.
