Political heirs of key leaders in local polls

Medchal-Malkajgiri: New candidates are planning to enter politics by contesting in local body elections. It is learned that a few key leaders are making plans to introduce their heirs in politics. Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah's son Srikanth is contesting as Moinabad ZPTC for the first time. Former Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy's brother's son Avinash Reddy is contesting as Shahbad ZPTC.

Gudimalkapur market committee chairman Goverdhan Reddy is contesting as MPTC with an aim to become an MPP. Minister Malla Reddy's brother- in-law Srinivas Reddy is contesting from Muduchinthalapally mandal as ZPTC. Former MLA Sudheer Reddy's son Sharath Chandra Reddy is testing his luck from contesting as Ghatkesar ZPTC.

It is learned that Maheshwaram former MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy's daughter in-law to contest as ZPTC. The elections will be conducted in three phases in Rangareddy district and first phase nominations were ended. Seven mandals are to face elections in the first phase. As many as five mandals of Medchal and Rangareddy will go for elections in the first phase.
