Secunderabad Cantonment: Pothole filled roads following the recent spell of heavy rain in Bowenpally, Sikh Village, Tadband, Diamond Point are causing severe anxiety among vehicle-riders. The roads have become worse after getting washed away in the rain. As if to justify their existence, officials of the Cantonment Board on Thursday took up patch work of the roads.

Even the tar mix filling the patches is getting washed away. The potholes have again resurfaced. As a result, it has become difficult for vehicle to move on the roads particularly in Bowenpally, Sikh Village, Tadband Centre, Diamond Point, Mudford, Hashmathpet etc because of their worst condition.

Vehicle riders apprehend accidents if they are not careful. Vehicles moving on these roads are getting involved in mishaps. Adding to the worst condition of these pothole filled roads, sewage is overflowing from manholes, changing their very appearance. Several residents of these areas told the Hans India that officials have become irresponsible in completing development works.
