Prajavani not redressing public grievances: BJP

Serilingampally: State BJP Executive Committee member Jnanendra Prasad and party leader Yoganand alleged here on Monday that the weekly 'Prajavani' programme has failed to address people's problems. They were speaking after lodging complaints at 'Prajavani' on problems faced by the residents of Hafeezpet after the party, under the leadership of division president Sridhar Rao, conducted the 'Basti Bata' programme.

The leaders listed the problems of the Serilingampally constituency as supply of contaminated water, lack of underground drainage, inadequate streetlights, lack of CC roads, sanitation. They appealed to GHMC Chandanagar Commissioner to solve people's issues and help in the development process. The BJP leaders also lodged in HMWSSB office public complaints on inadequate water supply with a plea to solve the problem. They informed the board officials that people were not able to solve their water woes.

Those who accompanied Prasad and Yoganand were leaders Koteswar Rao, Ravi Goud, Varaprasad, Jithender, Suresh Kurma, Pavan, Naveen, Nagaraju, Ravinder and many activists.
