Preparations underway for CM's annual Dawat-e-Iftar

Nampally: Officials from various departments on Wednesday reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister's annual Dawat-e-Iftar, which marks official grand festivities, besides distribution of gifts, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan.

The officials from various departments took part in the review meeting, where they discussed about the special arrangements at dias, proper location for namaz at the venue, police bandobast, coordination of traffic, requirement and control of public address system, unhindered power supply, protocol, invitation cards and their distribution, sanitation, water requirement and distribution, lighting and other arrangements at the LB Stadium. The officials were directed to ensure that all the arrangements are made a day before the grand event.

Advisor to Government (Minorities Welfare) AK Khan inspected the arrangements of Chief Minister's Dawat-e-Iftar to be held at LB Stadium on June 2, along with Special Chief Secretary for Minorities Welfare Ajay Mishra. Aravindar Singh, Secretary for General Administration Department (GAD), Shahnawaz Qasim, Director, Minorities Welfare, LS Chawhan, Additional Commisisoner, Law & Order, Dr Tarun Joshi, DCP Special Branch, M A Waheed, Executive Officer, Haj Committee and I&PR Additional Director NagaiahKamble others were present on the occasion.
