Prince Muffakham Jah visits Osmania Hospital

Afzalgunj: Prince Muffakham Jah Bahadur, the grandson of Nizam VII Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur, the last Nizam, on Wednesday paid a visit to Osmania General Hospital and hoped that the government would renovate the existing heritage building.

The prince was received by Dr Nagender, hospital superintendent, Dr Pandu Naik, Dr Iqbal Jaweed, Osmania Alumni, Anuradha Reddy, president of INTACH Hyderabad Chapter, Dr Rafe, RMO, among others. The prince was presented with a bouquet. He distributed fruits to the patients and enquired about their health.

On the occasion, he said that the hospital has to be developed at two main strategic points: One is to renovate the existing heritage building and extension of new building and the other is to update and improve the patient care with latest equipment and by increasing the staff.

He assured that he would provide all possible help in this regard. He also helped an old lady who was crawling by lifting her on a chair, along with others, and asked the authorities to do the needful for her. He was accompanied by Mazharuddin Jaweed and Anees Hussain.
